Ok, so I am up here on my little vacation in Crested Butte and we were at the pool at our hotel today when I saw something odd. Three guys came out who were all in their mid twenties and settled in near the pool. The odd part was that one of them had a tramp stamp (i.e. middle of lower back) tattoo. (Please note that I do not think every female who has a tattoo in that location is a tramp, it is just kind of a generic term that I am using.) The first odd thing was that he had a tramp stamp tattoo. I have only seen them in that location on women before now. The second odd thing was the tattoo itself. It was a tattoo of the adidas logo, the little sort of flower one. Why would you permanently brand yourself with, for lack of better words, a brand? Oh, the irony.

Kanye West was frickin' awesome!!! So excellent!! He had 3 openers. Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D., and Rhianna. Lupe Fiasco was the best of the openers. Very exciting. And then Kanye was just so frickin' great! It was just him. He had a pretty cool set up, with lights and all, but no back up dancers, no backup singers, no big showy crap. He just carried the whole thing by himself. Just one guy on a stage rapping and singing and dancing his ass off. So great. I love concerts. Love them, love them, love them!!! My sister and I are going to The Cure in a few weeks, at Red Rocks!!! I am so pumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Oct. 31st, 2007|08:42 pm] |
Yay! I love Halloween!!! I went to zalena's pumpkin carving party last night, which was fun. And then tonight there have been very cute trick or treaters. The cutest was probably a little 3-year-old in a penguin costume. Close runners up were the kids dressed as the Scooby gang, minus Shaggy and Fred. Very adorable. There was also a very cute pirate. Now we are watching Scream, which horror of horrors, I found out Cody had never seen. He needed to be educated. I love Scream, it is my favorite campy horror movie. This has been a good Halloween.
